Eric Morley

Born and raised in Silicon Valley, Eric Morley brings fifteen years of real estate development, public policy and public affairs experience to real estate development projects, public policy issues and client companies. His real estate and land use experience includes commercial market research, brokerage and the public approval process of development. His political and public policy background spans local, state and federal government.

Morley is also a principal in Morley Bros., LLC , a real estate investment and development company with his brother, Sean E. Morley, a successful land use and real estate attorney. Morley Bros. specializes in development of infill residential and mixed use projects in communities throughout San Francisco Bay Area.

Morley has provided strategic advice to companies interacting with government agencies, community stakeholders and the media for more than a decade. He founded Morley Hunter Group, Inc. in 1997. From 1991-1996, Morley served as Public Affairs Director for the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors a 3,000-member, Silicon Valley-based, real estate trade association. He developed and managed all legislative advocacy programs and public policy analysis. He also directed the organization's media and community programs.

Prior to working in the real estate industry, Morley worked on the campaign staff of Susan Hammer for Mayor in 1990, as well as in local and federal government. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations from UC Santa Barbara.

Cynthia James

Cynthia James brings over a decade of experience in government affairs, issue advocacy, and real estate development to the Morley Hunter Group. She has extensive experience on land use issues, as wells as developing policy, communication strategies and community coalitions.

Prior to joining MHG, James managed Federal Government Relations for Intel Corporation. She was responsible for developing and managing Intel's political relationship program including Intel's Political Action Commitee.  James also spent several years working as Intel's Bay Area Government Affairs Manager with responsibility for local legislative activities. In addition, James worked as Intel Santa Clara's Site Development Manager. Her role included responsibility for all land entitlement processes.

Before joining Intel Corporation, James worked as a policy advisor to Susan Hammer, former Mayor of San Jose. She was responsible for advising the mayor on land use, transportation and telecommunication policies. James was also responsible for managing the public sector processes for specific real estate development projects throughout the City of San Jose.                                                                            

James received a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology from San Diego State University and a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from San Jose State University.
